Beauty & Power Becomes Your Strength:

Empowerment is Beautiful: Becoming Your best version of yourself is even better.

I often ask myself what does beauty and power mean? Many who believe that beauty has an idea of “who they should be” don’t associate the same identity with being empowered or strong.

Empowerment is an internal job. It has nothing to do with your position in life, the stories you tell yourself or the circumstances that have happened to you in the past. Empowerment is seeded with understanding who you are and embracing and valuing that foundation.

I believe that beauty is like water to a woman’s soul and that without it in her life she withers away. It is an essential nutrient for her to see and be in touch with beauty, whether it is the starry sky, a garden of flowers or just a simple cuddle. Maybe a romantic meal in a beautifully designed restaurant, or relaxing in a luxurious spa.

Having beautiful things in my life and feeling myself as beautiful, inside and out, are vital. Where insecurity is anyone's kryptonite, beauty is strength. What is insecurity after all but the fear of some stain or blemish in one’s appearance or character that will not be perceived as beautiful to others?

Beauty is what we all crave.

Life is ruled by the mundane, arbitrary, comfortable but lackluster mechanical routine. Beauty is the spark in our hearts and without it, we become numb robots following the codes of comfort and ethics, creating as duty rather than as an exploration and striving towards something greater than ourselves.

I’m not here to empower you.

Because I know that you already have everything you need to be successful. You have charm and wit and strength and power beyond what you think you’re capable of. You have the knowledge and resources to learn more, do more, and achieve more. You have skills and life experience that no other has, and that gives you your own unique perspective on the world.

You are empowered because you have those qualities; no one can take them away from you. Nor can someone give you permission, authority, or power to show up as your beautiful, authentic self.

Even empowered individuals need a reminder of their own brilliance. Sometimes we don’t feel good enough, or smart enough, or capable enough to achieve the things we want in life.

Chances are, because you’re reading this, you ARE an empowered person. And because you may need a reminder of what an empowerment (aka YOU) looks like, let’s paint the picture together.
